Police Dog Dream

Based on a true story, this is a heartwarming tale of the bond that develops between trainee police dog and apprentice police dog trainer. On the island of Shikoku, and throughout Japan, there is one trainee police dog that has become more famous than any other. She is an eight year-old Labrador Retriever by the name of 'Kinako'. She attempted to pass the Police Dog Examination six times, but failed on every occasion. In the 2005 training presentation she failed to clear a jump in the obstacle course event, and landed flat on her face. But Kinako and her female trainer never gave up, regardless of a number of failures. The sight of their perseverance has gradually attracted sympathetic support throughout Japan, and has made them a very popular pair.
